Here’s Jordan Having completed the short Skills for Industry programme in construction, Jordan is looking for work in this industry. Jordan would say “I am a hard-working honest employee that always gives 100% at everything I do, I am constantly trying to improve on everything I do whether I am at home or at work. Personally, I feel that there is always room for improvement, so I always aim to be the best employee possible. I am a very punctual person; I always arrive to work on time and turn up to every day without hesitation. Jordan has worked in Forestry, Hospitality and retail. Is currently working towards a Restricted drivers licence, is drug free and if given the opportunity will show how capable of an employee Jordan can be. Meet Braden; Having recently participated in a Skills for Industry programme that involved building a two-story house. Braden worked alongside others and helped erect paneling and used associated tools.   While Braden has successfully completed a Traffic Control Certificate and a forklift licence, the Skills for Industry programme developed a passion to work in construction sector. Braden is; ·          Honest and reliable with a strong work ethic ·          Works well in a team environment ·          Friendly happy and approachable ·          Drug free Currently working on moving from a learners licence to a restricted licence within the next month.   Given the opportunity he will give 100% in everything he does. Introducing Sharn;  Who is a fit, healthy and mature young person, keen and motivated to gain employment in the building, construction or allied industries. Confident and capable to learn new tasks, with the ability to work well in teams, or individually. Given the opportunity his positive, reliable and eager attitude will shine through. Recently finishing a Skills for Industry programme that involved assisting with the installation of steel framing, paneling and using hand tools, with 100% attendance, is waiting for and employer to snap him up. Currently on a learners licence that will become a restricted licence in the next few weeks. Having worked as a Stores is not afraid of hard work and heavy lifting. Sharn has NCEA Level 2 Mathematics, Physical Education, Outdoor Education and Sport and Exercise.
